Garage Cleanout FAQ
Can you take paint, gasoline, and chemicals?
Not in the truck — but we will help you route them. Portage County and Summit County both run household hazardous waste (HHW) collection days. We will tell you which drop-off is closest and when the next event is.
I have a bunch of tools I no longer need but they still work. Where do they go?
Working hand tools and power tools go to Habitat ReStore or local donation partners. We send you a note telling you what got donated, not just what got dumped.
How long does a typical 2-car garage take?
Most full 2-car garages run a half-truck to a full-truck job, finished inside a few hours. We schedule a 2-hour arrival window and most cleanouts wrap up same-day.
Same-day — really? Even today?
Most days, yes. Text a photo of the garage to (330) 845-JUNK by mid-afternoon and we usually have a crew at your house within hours.
I have a couple of old propane tanks from the grill. Take or leave?
We leave them but we will guide you. Empty grill propane tanks can be exchanged at most hardware stores; full or damaged ones go through HHW collection. We sweep around them and finish the rest of the cleanout same-day.
