How much does junk removal cost?
We price by volume: how much space your stuff takes up in our 11-yard truck. We post 12 load sizes that run from about $140 for a single-item Minimum Load up to roughly $625 for a Full Load. You get a free, no-obligation quote up front (text a photo for the fastest estimate), and new customers get $25 off their first pickup with our Founding 50 launch offer (first 50 customers, code FOUNDING50, applied automatically). A few items carry small posted surcharges for special disposal, and your pro confirms the exact final number face-to-face before any work begins. You can see how our pricing works on our pricing page.
Will the price change once you arrive?
The on-site price might land a little above or below the phone estimate, for example if there’s a fridge in the mix, or the pile turned out smaller than described. Here’s our promise: your pro will walk through the entire job with you, confirm the exact final price face-to-face, and only start working once you’ve said yes to that number. No mid-job surprises, no end-of-job shock charges. If the final price doesn’t work, you owe nothing.
Why are some items extra?
Some items cost more for us to dispose of: mattresses, appliances with refrigerant, electronics, tires, and construction debris all have special fees at the transfer station, sometimes requiring certified disposal. Rather than hide those costs in our base prices (which would charge everyone more, even people without those items), we show them up front so you only pay for what you actually have. It keeps the price honest for the person clearing out a single couch and the person clearing a whole basement alike.
How does the $25 off your first pickup work?
It’s our Founding 50 launch offer. The first 50 customers get $25 off their first job plus lifetime VIP priority booking (code FOUNDING50). Book through the quote form or mention it when you call or text and we apply it automatically to your final price. It stacks with our honest, volume-based pricing, so you still get the same flat quote up front, just $25 lighter.
Do I need to be home, or move anything to the curb?
You don’t need to move a thing. We do all the lifting and carrying, from the basement, attic, backyard, or a third-floor apartment with no elevator. You just point out what goes and what stays. Someone 18 or older does need to approve the final price before we start, but that can be handled in person or remotely by phone if you can’t be on-site. We’ll send photos and confirm before any work begins.
Do you offer same-day junk removal?
Most jobs can be done same-day or next-day. The best way to lock it in is to text a photo of your items to (330) 845-JUNK by mid-afternoon. We usually have a truck out within hours. On busy days or for larger cleanouts we may book you into the next available 2-hour arrival window, and booking a day or two ahead for a specific time is always free. Either way you’ll get a text when your pro is on the way.
What happens to my junk after you haul it?
Anything still usable goes to Northeast Ohio donation partners like Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Goodwill, recyclables (metal, electronics, cardboard) are separated out, and only what’s genuinely waste goes to the landfill. After the job we send you a note telling you what was donated, recycled, and disposed. If you want the full breakdown of where a typical load ends up, we wrote a transparent guide on exactly that.
What can’t you take?
We can’t haul household hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, asbestos, medical waste, or ammunition, because those require specialized handling. For most of those, your county’s household hazardous waste program is the right drop-off: Summit ReWorks in Summit County, or the Portage County Solid Waste Management District in Portage County. Not sure about a specific item? Call (330) 845-JUNK and we’ll tell you whether we can take it or point you to the right local resource.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. NextGenJunkRemoval is fully licensed and insured, operating as NextGenWasteManagement LLC (Ohio Secretary of State entity #5609540). If anything in your home is damaged during the job, we cover it, no argument. That’s our No-Damage Promise. We’re happy to provide a certificate of insurance on request, which is common for apartment complexes, property managers, and estate or foreclosure work.
Do you handle commercial, rental, or recurring jobs?
We do. Alongside residential pickups we work with landlords, property managers, realtors, and small businesses on rental turnovers, eviction and foreclosure cleanouts, and ongoing rubbish removal. We can send photo confirmation of each job, provide a certificate of insurance, and set up standing or recurring pickups on a schedule that fits. Ask about our property-manager program.
What areas do you serve?
Akron, Streetsboro, and every Summit + Portage County suburb, with Cuyahoga and Geauga eastern-edge cities (Chagrin Falls and Bainbridge) on the same day when scheduling allows. We are based in Streetsboro; jobs over 25 miles from there carry a $50 distance surcharge to cover drive time. Not sure if you’re in range? Call or text and we’ll confirm in a minute.
